TARIFF CLASSIFICATION STUDY

Process to request a Tariff Classification Study is as follows:


  1. Make your payment of $950.00 USD for each product to be consulted, through the button at the bottom of this list (your Paypal receipt is your invoice for tax purposes);
  2. Submit your request by email, from the same email address as used to make your payment, to facilitate the identification process;
  3. In your message it is necessary that you attach the information that you consider relevant to the identification of your product;
  4. It is also necessary that you tell us, if applicable, what the subheading(s) is/are in controversy.
  5. Once your inquiry is received, if the information that you sent us is sufficient to identify your product, in a maximum time of 5 business days our opinion will be sent to you;
  6. If the information received is not sufficient to identify and, therefore, classify your product and carry out the study, a message will be sent to you requesting the information needed for the purpose.

The response to your request includes the tariff classification to 6 digits (ten digits in the case of Mexico, the United States of America, any country in Central or South America and certain countries in Europe). If you need the complementary digits in your country's tariff, we can do so at no extra cost, as long as you provide us with the nomenclature corresponding to the applicable subheading. If you do not need the legal basis and reasoning behind such classification, you need to submit a Tariff Classification Request to us. To request it, please follow this link.
